You’re walking home after work, and you daydream as usual.
“La~la~ It would be great to have a pet! Like a fuzzy kitty or something! Or maybe a dragon!”
(To be honest you’ve always been a little strange...)
You are thinking about riding your awesome dragon over a fantasy battlefield dressed as a warrior maiden in full-body armor when a strange little shop catches your eye.
“I haven’t seen that store before....” you think, “It must be new!”
The sign says: “Belladonna Pet Shop”. It looks sort of dark inside, but the sign says the shop is open.
“Hmm... curiouser and curiouser...”, you push open the door slowly.
As you enter, your eyes widen. It’s so... elegant for a pet shop. There are purple silk curtains and incense is burning in a little dish at the counter. There’s a tank full of colorful and exotic fish and little cages filled with soft kittens and jumpy puppies. No dragons though... even if it looks like the place to buy one. The woman standing behind the counter has long silver hair and a bow tied on top. Her violet eyes are mysterious and somewhat hypnotic.
“Would you like your fortune told?” she asked as her eyes met yours.
“N-no thank you!” you stutter, “I’m just looking.”
“Pity, looks like it’d be interesting,” she went back to arranging Tarot cards.
You felt a little uncomfortable so you looked around at the pets in the shop. A group of gamboling kittens in a little pen caught your eye.
One of them was a Scottish Fold with little folded ears and was white with orange patches. He seemed to be trying to keep aloof from the other kittens. Another had long, silky light colored fur and was crying “le meow!” at a silver kitten with red eyes. He was wearing a ribbon in the pattern of the German flag. He was surely the feisty one of the bunch, grappling with another dark brown kitten with purple eyes and a white face.
“Aww! What a cutie!” you gushed.
You reached down to scoop him up into your hands. He struggled in an adorable way, pushing against your hands with his soft little paws. After a minute, he calmed down and snuggled up in your hands, fast asleep.
“D’aawww! So cute!”
“He seems to have taken a liking to you,” the woman with the hair ribbon said, “Would you like to take him home? He’s the runt of the litter so you can have him for free.”
“YES!” you exclaimed with enthusiasm, hardly believing your good fortune.
“One thing though,” she said with a mysterious smile, “No returns.”
“Oh, I’m going to keep him forever,” you said as you held him against your chest.
----------------------
You made your new kitten a little bed with a soft blanket in the bottom drawer of your dresser. You gazed at the sweet and slumbering little creature before you got ready for bed yourself.
“We’re going to have so much fun together,” you thought as you reached to turn out the light. It began to thunder softly outside and you could hear it raining softly. You looked down at the novel you’d been reading earlier that day. The main character’s name was Gilbert... A weird name for a cat, but then again you were a weird owner.
“I’ll name you Gilbert,” you said softly as you drifted off to sleep.
As you slowly woke up, your hand was met by soft, silky fur and ears.
“Mmm,” sighed, “Gilbert, are you up already, you silly kitty?”
“Who are you calling silly? I am ze awesome Gilbert!”
“MY CAT IS TALKING!?” you yelled as you opened your eyes in surprise. On the floor beside your bed there was a silver-haired youth with red eyes and silvery ears and A TAIL?? He had a ribbon tied around his neck, but was wearing nothing else.
“I am your pet now, Frau. I want breakfast!” He looked up at you beseechingly.
“I bought a pet cat, not a person! I’m not into that whole human trafficking thing. And take off those ears!” You pulled at the ears and Gilbert let out an earsplitting yowl. He looked at you with tear-filled eyes.
“Why did you do zat?”
“Ah! That sketchy pet shop lady! What are you?”
“I am a neko, a cat person. Once an owner takes me in and loves me, I take my true form,” with that he began to lick his wrist with his clean, pink tongue.
His red eyes glowed like rubies and the morning sunlight made his silky hair and ears gleam the brightest silver. Even though he wasn’t what you’d expected, he really was beautiful and sweet in a way. You lived alone anyways.
“I guess it would be fine to keep you...”
Gilbert looked up at you, his face radiant with happiness. He jumped into bed beside you, put his face on your stomach and fell asleep.
Hold on a second... even if he was a neko, he was still a guy... Ah! A naked guy just jumped into bed with you!
“GILBERT!!!! Bad kitty!”

The rain was pouring now, the wind whipping ice-cold pellets into my face and threatening to take my (f/c) umbrella away. I’m never going to make it home in one piece in this weather! I’ll just stick to the sidewalk until I get to my house. Suddenly, I heard a muffled crying, followed by some soft sniffles. When I looked up, there was a little boy sitting on a bench, his face hidden by a stuffed toy bear. My instincts kicked in and I ran o

Warning! This chapter contains violence and some gore. Be warned.
(3rd POV)
Adon lead his three guests back into the courtyard, waiting patiently for the third one to catch up. Arthur exchanged a glance with his two partners and turned to Adon, "Well, I suppose now would be a good time for us to speak with your king. We have some very personal news we were told to relay to him." Adon raised an eyebrow, "What would the news be about?" He asked, genuinely curious. Arthur glared at him, silencing the black haired man, "It is no ones' business except for the kings'. It concerns people of high

It was cold and raining and you were stuck in a garbage pail that was quickly filling up. Your small little body was shivering in both fear and freeze. Looking up at the sky, you saw no end to the rain.
You began crying out pathetically for help, scratching at the sides to make noise. Hours passed, starvation was setting in, the water level was going to reach over your head in moments and your blood vessels were freezing assumably.
Crying out once more, you pitifully tried to gain attention before you drowned. As your breath was cut off, you noticed someone coming by, giving you the energy to force your head out of the water for anoth
